Saving Marriage

Every marriage has its fair share of problems. However, a marriage should never be so plagued with problems that one or both partners wonder whether the marriage is worth saving. No matter how difficult marital problems seem, there should always be hope that both partners are invested in the future of the marriage.

Instructions

Be sure you both want to save your marriage. It's going to take both of you to make the marriage work. The first step is to have a long and honest discussion about all of your problems.

Make a plan of action to resolve the problems threatening the marriage. Don't place blame. Instead, acknowledge your own role in the creation of each problem. Discuss each problem in a calm and mature manner. Decide what can be done to eliminate the difficulties threatening the marriage. Last, determine that change is necessary for the marriage to continue.
Decide what areas of your marriage need improvement as well as what aspects of your own personality and behavior could stand being improved. Although changes may be necessary, it is not always easy. Create a step-by-step plan outlining ways in which you can improve yourself and your marriage. This may seem silly at first, but it can be very helpful in saving your relationship.
Learn to laugh at your mistakes. Talk openly about the sour moments in your marriage. Examine the disagreements and the less-than-perfect moments that brought you to the point where you are at now. If you really take the time to scrutinize them, you may find that you are able to laugh about them. Focus your energies on the positive moments of the past and work toward a positive future together.
Be willing to put the needs of your spouse before your own. Practice selflessness. This is one way of showing your spouse how much you care and that you are willing to save your marriage.
Put the romance back into your marriage. Although sex is a very important part of a marriage, there are many ways to express your feelings. For example, try writing personal notes or poems, being spontaneous and doing things out of the ordinary. Include small acts of intimacy, such as holding hands and engaging in conversation. Small gestures can strengthen the bond of marriage.

Seek the help of a professional marriage counselor if you feel you need it. Some couples feel that they are unable to solve their problems alone. There's nothing wrong with seeking help. If you feel you need professional guidance and advice to save your marriage you will benefit from the assistance of a professional marriage counselor.

Tips & Warnings
  •  Keep at it; saving your marriage takes time. It won't happen overnight.

Fact Of Aloe Vera Juice

Fact Of Aloe Vera Juice

One of the main benefits of aloe is that it enhances the absorption of vital nutrients to the body, meaning you can get more nutrients out of your food, just by drinking Aloe Vera juice prior to every meal, as well as prior to taking vitamins. You don’t need to drink a lot, about 80 grams 3 times a day.

Another great benefit of Aloe is that it regulates blood sugar levels and had detoxification properties to the liver. When our liver works properly, our metabolism works fast as well.

Since Aloe is full of anti-oxidants, it will boost and enhance your immune system therefore regulating all of the processes in your body.

If you are working out on a regular basis, aloe Vera juice will help your body and your joints to recover at a much higher speed, because it reduces inflammation.

Because aloe Vera contains collagen, not only that feeds the cells in your skin and hair, but it is also much harder to digest, and the body uses more energy to digest it, this process causes weight loss.
Drinking aloe Vera juice is like drinking a vitamin and mineral cocktail, it contains Vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, E, Folic Acid and Niacin. Minerals in aloe Vera include Calcium, Sodium, Iron, Potassium, Copper, Zinc, Manganese, Magnesium and Chromium.

Another benefit of Aloe is that it contains 19 amino acids, and 7 of them are essential amino acids ( not produced by the body ).
From all the research that I’ve done, the amount of Aloe Vera should not exceed 2 to 4 Oz a day, it is enough to get the benefits of the plant. Do not exceed more than that because It can cause side effects such as nausea and allergic reactions. As with all the vitamins if they are taken in large amounts.

Foods Thought To Be Healthy But Are Not

Foods Thought To Be Healthy

But Are Not

Food is one of the most essential parts of life for survival, health and pleasure. I always prefer to take kind of food which gives me pleasure but is healthy as well. This list has been made to make people aware that what they eat as healthy, might just not be the same.

Diet Soda

There are not many scientific studies carried out on the health effects of diet soda hence this has become a controversial debate, but the few studies that have been carried out, have shown that diet coke is worse than the sugary versions.  Diet soda may cause considerable weight gain because it stimulates the appetite and the consumer eats more than the calories that were saved by drinking a diet soda. Some studies have suggested that the artificial sweeteners used in diet soda can cause weight gain, just like ordinary sugars and some of these sweeteners, like Aspartame, have been believed to increase the risk of certain kinds of cancer.

Processed Cheese

Everybody knows that cheese is not good for health, but processed cheese is even worse. Because its salt content is very high, in addition to saturated (bad) fat content,  and one can reach far past the recommended daily intake with just 2-3 slices of processed cheese.

Soy Sauce

Although soy sauce contains high levels of antioxidants but it also contains very high amounts of salt and chemicals known to increase the risks of certain types of cancer. After relatively fresh knowledge of the dangers associated with high salt-contents and much stricter regulations on these chemicals, several kinds of low-sodium soy sauces, free of dangerous chemicals are now available. Unfortunately, as is true about most healthy variants of food, it is not as tasty as the one with high salt content and chemicals.

Peanuts

In general nuts are good for health. Most types of nuts are available in the packed form with vitamins, minerals, fiber, and lot of other nutritious elements. The peanuts available in the market are roasted hence coated with unhealthy fats and are packed with a lot of salt. Nuts contain unsaturated fatty acids known as omega-6 fatty acids and omega-3 acids.
The risk for many common diseases, like diabetes and Alzheimer’s is increased many fold when  a food with a too distorted omega 6:omega 3 ratio (in favor of the omega 6 version) is consumed. In the nutshell, nuts should be consumed in the raw & natural form, without added salt & fats and in limited quantity.

Fruit Juice

General belief is that fruit juice is good for health that’s why people consume it instead of whole fruit. Although fruit juice contains a lot of vitamins but it also has extra sugar and its pulp is usually removed. The pulp in fruit provides fiber, which is a good counterbalance to the natural sugar contained in the fruit. Hence it is advisable that raw fruit should be eaten instead of consuming fruit juice.

Vegetable Oils

Vegetable oils are thought to be good (unsaturated) fats, healthy double bonds in the unsaturated fat decrease their melting point. However, the “oil” used for frying in fast food restaurants, is most commonly palm oil, an almost purely saturated (unhealthy) oil. It’s semi-solid at room temperature, liquid when heated and used for frying and is not healthy. Another more healthy oil could have been used for frying without affecting the taste of fries provided that the potatoes are of good quality. But the palm oil is cheap and the fast food companies care more about their profit than your health. In third world countries, where check and balance system is not that strict, palm oil is being marketed under the label of more healthy vegetable oils, beware of it.

Pasta

All the varieties of pasta including spaghetti, macaroni and noodles are made up of plain flour mixed with water and eggs (small percentage of egg included in pasta do not contribute much to its nutritional value). There are no vitamins, no minerals, and barely any fiber in pasta. Only empty carbohydrates constitute the pasta. Fast food pasta is even worse because it often contains a lot of salt, mixed with unhealthy fat.

White Bread

This is pasta in the guise of white bread.

Soup Mix

Soup mix contains water/milk/butter and tasty salt and preservatives. Excessive salt is not good for health. It can lead to high blood pressure and consequently to heart disease.

Ketchup

Ketchup is generally considered healthy food item because it is of vegetable origin and contains the antioxidant lycopene (antioxidants reduce the risk of developing mutations in the body, and the risk of diseases like cancer). But be careful because ketchup contains a lot of sugar (as high as 26% carbohydrates)and salt. In most of the ketchup brands lycopene levels are much lower than expected from the amount of tomatoes used because most of the ketchup we eat is processed and non-organic.

Lipstick Could Be Slowly Poisoning You

Lipstick Could Be

Slowly Poisoning You

Lipstick is a cosmetic product and its use for the purpose of beautification and makeup is centuries old. That's why the word lipstick is part of many folk tales and traditional phrases of many languages. Some of the examples include: The phrase “lipstick on his collar” is a euphemism to describe a man who is cheating on his partner. A “lipstick lesbian” is a gay or bisexual woman who exhibits feminine gender attributes. The alliterative term is thought to have come into common usage during the 1980s in order to distinguish between lesbians who adhere to more conventional gender roles and those who do not. In some contexts, it has pejorative connotations. “Lippy” is a British colloquialism for lipstick, particularly in Northern England.  The phrase “lipstick on a pig” is a euphemism for unsuccessfully attempting to make attractive something (or some idea) that is inherently unattractive.

1. Ingredients:

Many varieties of lipstick exist. As with most other types of makeup, lipstick is typically, but not exclusively, worn by women. Lipstick contains pigments, oils, waxes, and emollients that apply color, texture, and protection to the lips. Wax provides the structure to the solid lipstick. Lipsticks may be made from several waxes such as beeswax, ozokerite and Candelilla wax. The high melting Carnauba wax is a key ingredient in terms of strengthening the lipstick. Various oils and fats are also used in lipsticks, such as olive oil, mineral oil, cocoa butter, lanolin, and petrolatum. More than 50% of lipsticks made in the United States contain pig fat or castor oil, which gives them a shiny appearance.

2. What Is So Poisonous About Lipstick:

A study by US consumer group Campaign For Safe Cosmetics, in October 2007 found 60 percent of lipsticks tested contained trace amounts of lead, especially in red lipsticks. The levels of lead varied from 0.03 to 0.65 parts per million. One third of the lipsticks containing lead exceeded the 0.1ppm limit set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for lead in candy.

3. What Do The Health Experts Say:

This comes from someone who works in the breast cancer unit at Mt. Sinai Hospital , in Toronto .. From: Dr. Nahid Neman. She says ! Recently a lipstick brand called Red Earth’ Decreased their prices from $67 to $9.90. It contained lead. Lead is a chemical which causes cancer. The lipstick brands that contain lead are: christian Dior, Lancome, Clinique, Y.S.L, Estee Lauder, Shiseido, red earth (lip gloss), Chanel (lip conditioner), market America-mountains lipstick.

4. What Are The Odds That Your Lipstick Will Cause Cancer:

The higher the lead content, The greater the chance of causing cancer. After doing a test on lipsticks, It was found that the Y.S.L. Lipstick Contained the most amount of lead. Watch out for those lipsticks Which are supposed to stay longer. If your lipstick stays longer, it is Because of the higher content of lead.

5. How Do You Find Out About Lead In Your Lipstick:

Here is the test you can do yourself:
1. Put some lipstick on your hand.
2. Use a Gold ring to scratch on the lipstick.
3. If the lipstick color changes to black,
Then you know the lipstick contains lead.
Please share this information with all females you really care about, including your wife, sister, mother and colleagues.
